Cycloidal gearboxes, also known as cycloidal drives, are precision transmission systems designed to deliver high torque and accurate motion with minimal backlash. They operate through an eccentric mechanism that drives cycloidal discs to engage with needle pins inside the housing. This motion converts the motor’s input rotation into a stable, reduced-speed output, allowing smooth power transmission and consistent performance.

Cycloidal gearboxes offer a compact structure, high reduction ratios, and strong load capacity. They also feature low backlash and excellent impact resistance, which is ideal for equipment that requires precise positioning, smooth motion, and reliable performance under heavy or changing loads.
